on relaxing when you're very high-strung

I once had a person I deeply love(d) tell me that when you meditate for the first, second, third, and so on time, you would probably cry. I thought it was weird, and then I actually never got to the meditation bit so i forgot all about it in the way I have not been able to forget that person.

I remember now as I walk the charming streets of Bath and feel all my tight nervous energy evaporate... only making me more highly aware of how damn stressed I was. The sensation is an odd one: as if, while my shoulders begin to loosen up, it becomes painful to note how tight they felt. 

Relaxing is very draining indeed. I'm still working out how to come to terms with it.
